Edith Kauffman, RN, BSN – Director of Nursing
Edith, a native Texan joined Clear Springs Ranch as Director of Nursing in 2013. In 1989 she received her Vocational Nursing Degree, which was followed by her Associates Nursing Degree in 1994. She graduated from West Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in May 1996 and has over 30 years in nursing including 13 years of supervisory experience.
As Director of Nursing for Clear Springs Ranch, Edith is a valued patient advocate, management team member and mentoring supervisor. She is also a Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor who teaches at Alamo College. During the floods of 2002 and 2005, Edith volunteered her professional services with the American Red Cross helping neighbors in need through relief and disaster services and shelter operations. Married to Roy for 35 years, she is a member of the First Baptist Church of Kerrville and enjoys spending time with her five children and 11 grandchildren.
