Addictions Counselor

Clear Springs Ranch is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, dedicated individual to join our dynamic team and be part of a fast-growing premier treatment center in the central Texas/Waco area.

Primary responsibility:  Provide direct services to adults with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.   Principal functions include completion of the bio psychosocial assessment and interpretive summary; group and individual counseling; client education and motivation enhancement; treatment planning and review; discharge planning and family counseling; presents cases for treatment team review.   Provide comprehensive, accurate, individualized, and timely clinical documentation using electronic health records for each client.  Serves as an advocate for client as well as liaison between program and referral sources.

Qualifications:

Behavioral Skills:  The Counselor is responsible for providing treatment that is culturally sensitive and reflects best practices.  It is expected that all professional staff adhere to the ethical conduct appropriate to their respective disciplines.

Reporting:  This position reports to the Clinical Director.

Required:

High school diploma or GED with current Texas licensure as applicable.

Must be able to operate Microsoft applications and office equipment

Strong organization skills; ability to prioritize work; time management; meet deadlines

Position requires work schedule flexibility to include evening hours and weekend hours

Family Therapist

Clear Springs Ranch is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, dedicated individual to join our dynamic team and be part of a fast-growing premier treatment center in the central Texas/Waco area.

Primary responsibility:  Facilitate a program designed to assist clients and family members in gaining the tools to be used to heal and grow as a family.  The program includes a combination of education for the family on the disease of addiction, communication skills, setting boundaries, and identifying tools to be used to heal and grow as a family.  Counselors will be knowledgeable on the client’s treatment plan/goals, provide group and individual counseling, discharge planning, provide family therapy notes for treatment review, and serves as an advocate for client between programming and family.
